I don't know why...

... I neglect my blog like I do, its not like I'm super busy because I'm not... when I'm here at work I probably "work" 3 out of the 8 hours... so that leave 5 hours of BS'ing on the computer and the phone and what not... I don't really fool with my blog at home because thats my "doing nothing" time... you know like watching TV and playing video games like a 15 year old... I was to lazy to even post this... thats a damn shame if you ask me... but hey at least I acknowledge my laziness... thanks for you time... now it's back to me doing nothing...

I've been tagged...

I got hit with a tag combo over the weekend by Quick, Kitty and Strawberries...

Here are the rules.

1. Link the person who tagged you.
2. Mention the rules in your blog.
3. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours.
4. Tag 6 following bloggers by linking them.
5. Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger's blogs letting them know they've been tagged.

1. I have a addictive personality: I was once given the nickname "overkill" because if I like something I will play it out, eat it everyday, watch it over and over etc...

2. For some reason I stopped aging at 16: Some people say I look 18 if I'm lucky some say 21... Just the other day on Friday I was at the liquor store and when the guy Id'd me and he was sooo shocked because he said he thought I was 15... it's very frustrating... (what do you think?) btw I'm going to be 27 in June

3. Every 3 months I want a new phone: enough said... just got a new one again... we'll see what happens in 3 months

4. I love Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes.

5. I'm a girly tomboy: I play video games 24/7 and fall asleep to sportscenter every night...

6. I don't own a pair of normal socks: all my socks are colorful and pretty!

that is all...

(I'm going to break a few rules... I'm not going to tag anyone because everyone I was gonna tag all ready been tagged...)

Duck gets order of protection...

(I wish I was making this stuff up...)

A pet duck named Circles, shot and wounded by a neighbor with a pellet gun, has received an order of protection to keep it safe, the first duck in New York state to benefit from such an order. Circles, a white, yellow-billed duck, was treated by a vet and survived.

The neighbor was charged with animal cruelty. At the attacker's arraignment on Thursday, Circles' owners received an order of protection.

"It's the first case that I know of in this area where a duck got an order of protection, said Michelle Auletta, prosecutor at the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office.

you can do everything online...

Pay-per-view funerals go live online in Britain on Tuesday, allowing mourners who cannot attend services in person to pay their last respects via the Internet...

Despite criticism of the scheme as macabre, the company who launched the service, Wesley Music, is planning to offer it to crematoria across the country who will charge a one-off payment of around 75 pounds ($150) for access to a funeral webcast.

Mourners use the password to access a live online broadcast of the funeral service captured by a small camera mounted in the chapel.

"Families are dispersed across the world these days and sometimes it's the case that someone cannot get home in time for a funeral," said Alan Jeffrey, director of Wesley Music.

"For those who need it, this is a very important service. It means that rather than being excluded, they can at least witness and be a part of a funeral as it happens. In a time of stress this is something that can ease the pain."

David Powell, of funeral directors Henry Powell and Son in Southampton, southern England said he had already tested the service during three funerals. He insisted they remained private, intimate affairs despite being broadcast on the web.

"It's a personal thing. It doesn't go out for all and sundry to gawk at," he told Reuters. "There is a password for the family to send to people who want to watch online."

He said mourners as far away as Australia and Canada had already used the system. "The families have been absolutely delighted to be able to share in the proceedings when it wasn't possible for them to get over here and attend."

Man writes check on 2-ply toilet paper

I'm going to try this yall... I have plenty of toilet paper and bills to test this on... I will give you an update soon and let you know the outcome :-)

An upstate New York man embroiled in a dispute over his water bill is not being allowed to pay off his debt with a check written on toilet paper. Ron Borgna tried to settle his $2,509.66 bill with a check written on floral print, two-ply toilet paper Wednesday. The disagreement began in September 2006 when Borgna received a $422.90 water bill. Borgna claims he was over billed. With additional charges, penalties and late fees that bill has grown. Binghamton city officials refused to accept the check. After a short argument, Borgna was escorted out of the building.

Borgna says he is appealing the judgment against him in small claims court.

evil bunny hurts kid...

A man portraying the Easter Bunny at Lakeline Mall was arrested Friday after police say he injured a young child after getting fed up with his job.

The man, whose name was not released, was taking pictures with children on his lap at the mall when witnesses said the man became angry with his photographer, decided he no longer wanted to be employed by the mall and put a 9-month-old child on the ground... The child suffered a contusion to the forehead and was treated at a hospital and later released.
